Kirsten Curtis, LLPC

Therapist · Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if your mind already feels busy. I work with children, adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, big emotions, relationship stress and life transitions. My goal is to give you somewhere you can exhale.

Whether you're a child learning how to name your feelings, a teenager trying to understand who you are, or an adult balancing responsibilities while quietly feeling stretched thin, you deserve a space that feels steady. Therapy might look like finally having a place where you don't have to hold it all together.

I think of therapy like a snow globe. Sometimes life shakes things up and everything swirls at once. In therapy, we don't force it to stop. We set the snow globe down, give it space, and let things settle. Then we can look at what's inside with more clarity and less urgency.

My approach is person-centered and CBT-based, but more than that, it's collaborative and human. We'll move at a pace that feels manageable. We'll explore patterns, build practical coping tools, and gently challenge thoughts that may no longer serve you. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I pull from different techniques and adjust based on what actually works for you.
