Karen Copeland, RN, LMSW, LMFT
Therapist · Social worker, registered nurse, and marriage and family therapist
Karen brings over 40 years of experience, and three licenses in one: she's a licensed social worker, a registered nurse, and a marriage and family therapist. She's worked in medical and psychiatric settings, inpatient and outpatient, so she knows a thing or two about helping people through life's ups and downs.
Her style is about celebrating your strengths, building your confidence, and finding practical tools to manage moods, work through hard things and build better relationships, wherever you're starting from. She believes therapy should be a place where you feel respected and hopeful.
She uses an eclectic approach built on each person's strengths, and sees therapy as a collaborative agreement between therapist and client. In her words: "Therapy is not a magic wand that changes everything overnight but gives one the affirmative support and knowledge to make changes and gain insights which are life transforming."
Karen works with adults, couples and families to figure out what really matters to them and make real changes. If you want someone compassionate, wise and ready to cheer you on, Karen's your person.
Karen is accepting new clients.
