Forgotten homework, missed deadlines, big feelings that come on fast. Living with ADHD, or parenting a child who has it, can be exhausting, and a lot of people have been told to just try harder.

We work with children, teens and adults with ADHD, and with the parents who support them. Sessions are by video, from home, wherever you are in Michigan.

How we approach it

Therapy for ADHD here is practical. Using cognitive behavioral therapy and coping skills, we work on routines, emotions, and the thoughts that pile up after years of feeling behind.

For parents, we also run a virtual Parent Behavior Management Training group, so you can learn tools for home alongside other parents.

We pair individual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for children, teens and adults with a group-format Parent Behavior Management Training, all by video, anywhere in Michigan.

Parent training in behavior management is for you rather than your child, and it centers on behavior at home. For young children with ADHD, ask your pediatrician whether parent training should come first.

Adults can also work one to one with a therapist, by video. You can reach out for yourself, and with no drive, sessions fit more easily around work and home.

What to expect

Email us with a little about who therapy is for and how to reach you. We'll learn what you're looking for and match you with a clinician who fits. Appointments are often available within the week.

Sessions are by video. For children, parents are part of the work too, since what happens at home matters as much as what happens in session.

We don't do ADHD evaluations or prescribe medication, so if you need an evaluation, start with your doctor or pediatrician.

If medication is part of the plan, your prescriber looks after it. Therapy with us can be part of that plan too.
