Hanna Newton, LMSW
Meet Hanna- a licensed clinical social worker with over 12 years of experience supporting kids, adults, couples, and families who are ready to reconnect with their authentic selves and find more balance in life. My work is rooted in the belief that every person has strengths and resilience, even in the midst of life’s challenges.
My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative. I blend internal systems therapy with practical coping skills to help you uncover what’s happening beneath the surface — the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that might be holding you back — and explore ways to shift those patterns toward healing and growth. Together, we’ll create a safe and compassionate space where you can be real, vulnerable, and curious about yourself without judgment.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, managing stress, navigating relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in old habits, I’m here to help you make sense of your experience and develop tools that empower you to live more fully and authentically. I believe that healing isn’t about fixing something that’s broken; it’s about understanding, accepting, and growing into the fullest version of yourself.
In therapy, you don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly where you’re headed — you just need to show up ready to explore. My role is to walk alongside you, offering insight, support, and practical strategies tailored to your unique journey.
If you’re ready to take that next step toward feeling more like yourself and creating meaningful change, I’d be honored to support you on the path.

Kirsten Curtis, LLPC
Meet Kirsten-
Looking for a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if your mind already feels busy. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, big emotions, relationship stress, and life transitions. Whether you’re a child learning how to name your feelings, a teenager trying to understand who you are, or an adult balancing responsibilities while quietly feeling stretched thin, you deserve a space that feels steady.
My goal is to create an environment where you can exhale.
I use a person centered and CBT based approach, but more importantly, therapy with me is collaborative and human. We will explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, build practical coping tools, and gently challenge the beliefs that may no longer serve you. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
If I had to describe therapy, I think of it like a snow globe.
Sometimes life shakes things up. Thoughts start swirling. Emotions feel loud. Responsibilities pile on. When everything is moving at once, it can be hard to see clearly.
In therapy, we don’t force anything to stop. We simply set the snow globe down. We give it space. And slowly, things begin to settle.
When they do, we can look at what’s inside with more clarity and less urgency. Some pieces may need reframing. Some may need processing. Some may just need compassion.
You do not have to hold it all together on your own.
You deserve clarity.
You deserve understanding.
You deserve a place where things can settle.
If this feels like the kind of space you’ve been looking for, I would be honored to connect with you.

David Copeland, LMSW
Many people worry therapy will feel uncomfortable, awkward, or overly formal. My goal is to make it the opposite. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation where you can show up exactly as you are. I’m down to earth, approachable, and focused on building a genuine connection so you feel safe and supported.
Before becoming a therapist, I lived a full and diverse life. I’ve been an entrepreneur, DJ, business manager, and gamer. These experiences shaped how I see people and allow me to connect with clients in an authentic way. In 2015, I made the decision to return to school to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a licensed clinical social worker.
Since 2018, I’ve worked full time helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life stress, and major transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with practical tools you can apply in your daily life. My early training included nearly three years at Wolverine Human Services, where I worked with adolescents facing complex mental health and behavioral challenges.
If you’re ready for change but unsure where to start, I’m here to walk alongside you.

About Advanced Behavioral Health

Our team offers evidence-based therapy for anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you are seeking child and family counseling, teen therapy, or support as an adult, we create a warm and supportive environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered.
We believe that therapy is both a science and a deeply personal healing process. Using proven psychotherapy approaches combined with a relational, individualized style, we help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and shift patterns that contribute to stress, sadness, fear, and overwhelm.
At the same time, we are grounded in our commitment to the community. We partner with local families, schools, and professionals to support mental health and well-being across generations. Our goal is to make quality therapy accessible while also providing a thoughtful, elevated level of care that reflects the expertise and experience of our clinicians.
Therapy is not a quick fix. It requires collaboration, investment, and consistency from both clients and caregivers. Yet small, intentional changes in thinking, behavior, and emotional awareness can lead to life-changing growth, healthier relationships, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
